about me: Heres the skinny. Eddie was born in New York, grew up in the military has a younger brother and married into an Irish Catholic family the size of China. His humor comes from his life and his imagination. eddie now 35, is the perfect storm of where Wizards meet Hip-Hop. Eddie has been a favorite of colleges, corporate events and clubs ever since he grabbed the mike in Austin, Texas in 1994. In addition to working comedy clubs all over the U.S. and Canada, Eddie has also appeared in many nationally recognized comedy festivals. He became one of the first ever comedians to perform at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival as both a �New Faces� performer and �Festival Gala� performer in the same year. Eddie has been seen nationwide on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and the Game Show Networks National Lampoons Funny Money. Eddie made his Network Television debut in February 2004 on ABCs late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, and can be seen in his very own half-hour comedy special as Comedy Central Presents, Eddie Gossling. His special in 2005 was voted the number 4 best special ever produced by Comedy Central. In 2005 Eddie appeared on the Bravo series, The Best Things About Being from a Red State, and on Comedy Centrals World Comedy Tour, taped in Melbourne, Australia. Eddie has been heard on the Comedy Central animated series, Shorties watchin Shorties, and in April 2006 appeared in his first feature film as the voice of, Scraw the Vulture, in the Disney Animated film, The Wild, starring Kiefer Sutherland and William Shatner. If you have yet to see Eddie you might have heard him on XM Radio. Eddie now resides in Los Angeles, California. |

Eddie is one of the first comedians that Effinfunny shot and is undoubtedly one of the best. He defines smart, edgy comedy with his over the top creativity. I keep watching his stuff over and over because it's so effin good. Hey Eddie, you are ever in the Bay Area, let me know. I want to see a show!
