Hey Legend of Neil team: you should all be massively proud of this series. It's a hilarious concept, well-executed (little details like walking in place before moving over to the next screen? awesome.) and every time I think it's about to turn stale, it manages to surprises.
Best of luck in getting picked up for a second season. On to level two with more fairies (mmm, Felicia) more rupees (mmm, devalued Russian currency) and bombs!
Ive been watching back when it was on Youtube and have been a fan of it since.. I think I speak for all my friends when i say this is the greatest Legend of Zelda parody series made. Were all looking forward to see if there's going to a second season. Also looking forward for when its going to be shown on Comedy Central
In the original LoZ, you're trying to reform Zelda's Triforce of WISDOM, which she scattered in NINE pieces. (at least I'm pretty sure she did) So Legend of Neil got it right. :)
Anyways, fantastic finale! Hopefully there will be a season 2!
Lol "Yes, 'save me!' If you CAN....which of course you can't...which is why I'm saying 'if you can', because I'm very confident you can't."
OK, you got the part about the triforce of wisdom, I should have remembered that.
However, as the instruction manual says for the original 8-bit Legend of Zelda: http://www.kasuto.net/zelda1.php?main=zelda1/z1manual.html
And so, in order to fight off Ganon, Link had to bring the scattered EIGHT fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom together to rebuild the mystical Triangle.
There were 8 levels in LoZ, then you had to present the completed Triforce to the old man in Death Mountain to enter. Then you fought Ganon for the triforce of Power.
ok, after conferring with my co-writer, i realize i'm being dumb... yes there are 8 pieces of the triforce but in our world of LON there are 9, and the 9th is going to come from a special place. we mapped out a bunch of seasons and i forgot that we had planned down the line to deal with the 9th piece in a somewhat ridiculous and i think hilarious way. so we took some creative liberties throughout (zelda is black, you have to make love to the fairy to get healed, etc), there being a 9th piece is one of them... i think you'll like it when the mystery is revealed.
I didn't mean to be an a**hole about it, sorry it came across that way.
I just thought you were sticking to LoZ.
I do like this series, and I wish I could have been there to get one of those signed Legend of Neil posters!
sorry about the double post, but is there a way to format in this place?
there should have been a couple line breaks between "Triangle" and "There were 8.."
I'm a massive fan of this web series. I watch one or two episodes everytime I feel a bit out of sorts, and it never fails to cheer me up. So please, as long as you enjoy doing it and keep coming up with ideas, get us more stupid stuff like the Old Man, the German skeletons and the fog machines! Thanks a LOT for all this!
i massive fan of you being a massive fan... thanks so much for watching. it was a real labor of love making these and i really hope we get to make more. everyone that wants to help us convince comedy central to pick up the second season can hit up the video at atom.com and comment! they read them and it really helps!
I knew I learnt the word 'Taint' from somewhere... :P

Um... 1 of 9 ?!?
There were only 8 pieces of the triforce of courage.
see legendarylugi's post below, but there are nine pieces of the triforce of courage, which were scatted throughout hyrule by zelda.
Level 2!!
"I changed my mind"
Ahhhh classic.
Good stuff, now where is season 2!?!?
