well, i'm indian. so there's that. i was born and raised in new hampshire by these two other indians. i've got two older brothers (also indian). most of my friends? white. there were no other colors in new hampshire. brown, black, yellow, didn't meet those types of folks until i attended brown university (class of '02). since then i lived in new york city for a year and wrote for off off off off off broadway. but then i came to los angeles to make movies and tv. little did i know that i'd make "internet" instead. now i run this website, and direct many of the shorts that you see on here including the legend of neil, raptor, as well as put together the live stand up shows and edit them.
many people ask if I'm a stand up myself. the answer is NO. i don't do stand up, i improvise. but i do love stand up. mostly i'm scared of it and i conquered my fears by filming other people doing stand up and creating an online community for them. i do introduce the live shows in LA though and like to pretend that i'm a stand up comic. then I realize I didn't write any material so i kindly ask the audience to shut off their cell phones and then I scamper off stage.

Learned of Sandeep Parikh by watching The Guild (www.watchtheguild.com). Effinfunny stuff right there. Then, I found out about the Legend of Neil. Also a winner...! Except The Guild has like 7 episodes and Neil has only one so far... wtf -- when do the fans get more episodes!?
