i laugh at : God, way too many. 'The Honeymooners' (ah the wonderful Jackie Gleason) and early Woody Allen and Mel Brooks when they'd allow him to be Mel Brooks and the great Blake Edwards all the way through to Dyan Cannon (revisit 'Last Of Sheila' if you need to) and 'Fletch' (remember Chevy Chase? 'Vacation' anyone?) and 'Caddyshack' and the great Bill Murray to personal faves from Bob Hope to 'Airplane' to 'Noises Off' and Richard Curtis and (the British) 'Office.' Oh! And 'How I Met Your Mother' (thank God we rediscovered Mr Harris). You know what's funny? Just being funny. Stop trying to be, stop glamming it up, stop trying to package it and sell it make it work and just be. Like this site and Funny Or Die and Jokey Bits. All great stuff ten TIMES over the norm! And God bless the respective comedians for it. Oh! And 'Frasier.' Just gold. Cheers ...

about me: I sometimes feel like I was born watching movies; thrilled by them, taught by them, touched by them. They're America's artform. So it wasn't long before I wanted to MAKE them. Just as those that made me dream, I wanted to be a part of that dream factory. And it was behind the camera that attracted me most. So, to teach me that movie-making isn't all glitz and glamour, my parents had me work as a Child Extra (don't blink and you'll catch me in 'Back To The Future'), worked through High School at the local video store, and even made a few shorts. Then it was off to college where I studied film and continued work on-set as a Production Assistant on 'Maverick' and 'The Shadow.' All the while watching; all the while learning; all the while dreaming. Since college -- over ten years since -- I've worked in Post Production; and for the past year I've been a D.I. Producer, having just finished 'The Secret Life Of Bees' and am currently working on 'Twilight.' And through it all, I've continued telling stories -- writing, producing and directing when I can. In 2004, I made my first feature, the independent thriller 'Backstage Pass;' and I'm currently Co-Exec-Producing the upcoming Web Series 'Committed To You.' What's next? Who knows? But hopefully something that might lead someone else to follow THEIR dream.
